The automated marketing is commonly used in sales cycles like business-to-business (B2B), business-to-government (B2G) and in business-to-costumer (B2C) or longer sales cycles. It includes multiple marketing areas and it could be defined as the perfect mix between the technology of marketing via email and a structured sales process.
Leadsius is a automated marketing platform developed with Swedish clients and investors. This service is available since 2011 and, in less than 4 years since it was released, it is the first SaaS Marketing Automation with a Freemium system in the market. Today it has more than 1.000 users (mostly in Europe) and it is one of the flagship projects from Option, due to its complexity and its size. It is a free platform, however it’s also possible to get Premium functions with a paid subscription.
One of the services from Leadsius is that allows to transform contacts in clients after a maturation process. During this process the contacts receive different contents and, depending on their interest, they acquire a score that will allow the user to know if they’re potential costumers or not. Depending on this they will receive information via email or social network, and that will bring them from their inicial interest to became a costumer.
Leadsius manages an advanced automation of the workflow, that includes the automation of internal marketing process, such as budgets, schedules, workflow and authorizations, the marketing calendar, internal collaborations, development of digital assets and management from all the parts that support the efficiency of the internal marketing operations.
Normally this systems would require a CRM o COM admin that can establish the rules needed to activate the action points from the internal sales, and also would need the support of professionals related to the area for all the manual process (design, sending information and campaigns). This kind of systems increase the skills from the sales team to deliver the content to the right person and at the right moment, but there can be limitations and problems specially related to the human resources capacities from a company and their commitment with the assigned tasks.
Leadsius offer a complete marketing platform that allows to manage mailing campaigns, landing pages, personalized online forms, automated workflow, monitoring of activities, and diverse reports that help during the decisionmaking process.
Today Leadsius has more than 1200 costumers all over the world, specially in Sweden, and it’s being integrated to Chilean companies as well. This project is still in a developing process and we keep adding new functions to maximize the platform.
At the beginning Leadsius was created like a software developed on .Net language, but this only allowed to establish communications with the costumers. Due to the market conditions this system was to expensive to maintain and, since the purpose was to make it grow, we change the .Net for Sympfony (php).
